Wesley + Matt :: Engaged

Oh how I love my clients. These two crazy kids are getting hitched in January, and I am so ecstatic that they chose me to document it. Despite the scorching Texas heat, we laughed nonstop for the entire session…we couldn’t have been faster friends.

Wesley and Matt remind me a bit of Bobby and me. They have this Lucy and Ricky Ricardo thing going on that tells me they knew each other in a former life. They are completely best friends and are kind and gentle to each other, but aren’t afraid to bust the other one’s chops every now and again. Their sarcastic senses of humor and willingness to be silly in public let me know that they don’t take themselves too seriously. They can laugh at themselves, which, in my book, is a top-rated quality to have.

Here’s what I captured of our adventures in Austin at Town Lake (now known as Ladybird Lake) and the farmer’s market. I think this session totally has a summer camp vibe, and I LOVE IT!
