Sarah + Ben :: Hitched
Finally. This post is here. It made it. Why don’t we all give it a little handclap for arriving despite its lack of promptness. Sarah + Ben have OH-SO-PATIENTLY been waiting since they got back from Hawaii for this post. I’ve had the images done, but couldn’t FOR THE LIFE OF ME decide on which ones to put on the blog. They had more images in their Signature Collection than I have ever given to a client. Sifting and sorting through all of those images made it an agonizing process to choose favorites to show you guys.
The reason for so many favorites? Hmmm. Maybe it’s because Sarah + Ben are some of my favorite clients EVER. Maybe it has something to do with their families and friends being completely welcoming and incredibly spirited. Perhaps I was inspired by the love and the locations and the food and the ABSOLUTELY KILLER music Ben put together for the reception. (I mean, come on people. Anyone who uses a Mutemath song for their first dance is tops in my book.)
Who knows. Whatever the case, I love these kids to pieces, and I can’t wait to continue our friendship now that they are back and getting settled. Chiggity check it.
Oh, Katie’s hair. Precious Katie and her hair.
Here’s Meredith trying with all of her might to help Katie’s hair.

Ben’s cute little sister, Becca, sews a bridesmaid’s slipper.
The talent runs deep in that Easley family!

Sarah’s younger sister Lauren performs surgery on Sarah’s dress.

Gorgeousness.

The girls were not only adorable but were also so much fun!

Ohmigoodness, have you ever seen such beauty?

Whoa. Incredible. My socks just flew across the room.

How many men does it take to get a groom ready?

Um, hello studs! Lookin’ good!

Ben is so handsome…just like a classic movie star.

Sarah and her mom ride the elevator down to the chapel.
(Goin’ to the chapel…)

Everyone is ready for the main event.

And, he sees her.

It was a beautiful ceremony.

I love the sweetness and sincerity of this shot.

My peeps! The wedding party!

It’s official!

I mean, how freaking cute are they?

They had a sweet getaway car! Vrrrroom.

Welcome to the reception!

This grandmother was off the chain. I could have watched her all night.
I told her I want to be just like her when I grew up and I 100% mean it.
If you can do the sprinkler when you’re a senior, you’ve got game.

Holy dancefloor explosion. This group had ALL the moves.

And, we’re off!

Bye bye!

Thanks for trusting me with documenting your big day.
What an amazing experience it was!
Big hugs and lots of love to you both…send some to your fam and friends, too!
SO worth the wait!
Speechless.
Honestly.
I’m having a stroke!!! I wanna see the other 1473 photos!! These are fabulous! Reading and viewing your blog in recent months with a cup of coffee in the evenings is one of my newest favorite past-times! You are a hoot–I love how you shoot and how you write! It’s fun seeing the world through your lens–photographically and mentally/emotionally!
