Elaine + Adam :: Hitched
This wedding took me (and Bobby, as my lovely assistant) to the Outer Banks in North Carolina. Adam’s aunt, Eileen, hosted the wedding reception and all of the rest of their fabulous family members chipped in to pull off this feat. The weather was gorgeous, everyone looked stunning (Elaine and Adam were very Kennedy-esque!), and it was so nice to see these two lovebirds finally make it official!!!
Adam’s great great grandfather wrote a letter to Adam’s grandfather bequeathing him the diamond that is now in Elaine’s engagement ring.
Reading the letter, I completely got goosebumps and wished my family history was a little less choppy and had more tradition like this…
Oh well…maybe I can come up with a genius heirloom plan in my sleep. It’s got to start somewhere, right?

Adam’s artistic cousin, Billy, completed Elaine’s updo with a veil.

Adam fidgets. Adam fidgets more.

Doublestick tape, anyone! Elaine had that dress on lockdown. =)

Let the show begin!

What? She’s mine now? YESSSSSSSSSSS.

Elaine’s son Collin was cracking me up all day long with his facial expressions!

It’s a done deal!

Love these girls. They were all so supportive of Elaine and were super fun to hang with.

The “mens” were great, too…
Handsome and funny gentlemen. Can’t ask for much more.

Oh, just adorable. White picket fence and all.

To the beach!

This is a nice friend to Elaine’s Unbridaled trolley photograph.

At the reception, mission #1 was to save.that.cake!!!

Ryan gets TOSSED like a salad.

Collin was jonesin’ for some pool action, too.

Break it down, Jamey!

Hilarious. Elaine’s dad is not a fan of the mohawk, I am guessing.

Adam’s other aunt, Rosemary, caused me to laugh only about 476 times that day.

Have you ever seen a guy want a garter MORE?
This was a first for my camera!

And a sparkler exit topped off the day…what a beautiful day it was!

Congrats, Elaine + Adam, and big ol’ hugs to you and your crazy family members!!!
You rocked it, chica!!! Tell all your friends to try the fried brie balls at Argyles…
WOW!! What a beautiful family of three!!! The outer banks was such a pretty setting too. Couldnt have asked for a better day huh? I love your style Elaine, This photography is exceptional too! Congrats and we love you!!!!!!!
What an adorable wedding. You did a fabulous job. love, Amy
